Anorex is promoted as a thernogenic weight-control compound for the significantly overweight. Basically, it is what is commonly known a diet pill. It makes use of the ECA stack: Ephedrine, caffeine and aspirin but with some unique twists. Additional ingredients L-tyrosine, kelp and cayenne.

Anorex also has an appetite-suppressing effect, so you feel less hungry and therefore eat less.

How Does Anorex Work?

Ephedrine: Ephedrine has been shown to increase the effectiveness of thermogenesis (fat burning) in the body. It has powerful effects on the cellular mechanisms that control fat release from fat cells. Some of these effects include contributing to the release and blocking the re-uptake of the neurotransmitter norepinephrine. This gives norepinephrine the ability to continuously stimulate receptors in your body, causing fat cell "flood gates" to open and facilitate fat loss. The Chinese herb ma huang (Ephedra sinica) is the chief natural source of the ephedrine family of compounds, although there are other minor sources, such as Sida cordifolia.
Caffeine: The second key thermogenic ingredient caffeine is a methylxanthine that stimulates hormone-induced fat burning. The caffeine in Anorex comes from kola nut and green tea extract. Caffeine works by increasing free fatty-acid concentrations and adrenaline levels. This results in greater lipolysis (oxidation of fats for energy), which can drain your fat stores over time. This change in a muscle's utilization of energy substrates can have a profound effect on fat loss. Caffeine also heightens mental alertness, which can positively affect your motivation to exercise and create the caloric deficit needed to lose body fat.
Aspirin: Aspirin is the popular name for acetysalicylic acid. It raises the body's internal "thermostat," so that the increased production of heat, which is typical of ECA products, does not set off alarms in the body. This allows the ephedrine and caffeine to work in your body for a longer period of time, giving you the maximum fat-burning potential.
L-tyrosine: Tyrosine promotes thermogenesis by providing more of the raw material needed to produce the neurotransmitters and thyroid hormones in charge of regulating your metabolic rate. As such, tyrosine works with the ECA stack to boost your metabolism and help you to reduce your fat stores.
Cayenne: Cayenne is a rich source of capsaicin, which increases the secretions of epinephrine and boosts the release of catacholamines from the adrenal glands. Both of these mechanisms enhance thermogenesis by elevating energy expenditure and fat oxidation. Since capsaicin and the ECA stack function through similar pathways, they are a good combination.

How To Take Anorex and Anorex Dosage and Administration

The manufacturer recommends taking two capsules with a glass full of water no more than three times per day.

Like many other ECA-based products on the market, Anorex will induce thermogenesis (raise your body's temperature by speeding up your metabolism) and cause you to burn more calories. Other Anorex results include: suppressing your appetite, preserving lean muscle mass, and increasing your energy levels. The tyrosine in the formulation increases these benefits by further curbing appetite and reducing fatigue and stress levels. Cayenne also works well with the ECA stack, elevating metabolic rate and fat oxidation. Unless you have an iodine deficiency, the kelp will do little, if anything, to help you lose body fat.
