Crestor (rosuvastatin) is generally well tolerated. Crestor (rosuvastatin) side effectshave usually been mild and transient. In clinical studies of 10,275 patients, 3.7% were discontinued due to adverse experiences attributable to Crestor (rosuvastatin). The most frequent adverse events thought to be related to Crestor (rosuvastatin) were:

• myalgia

• nausea

• periodontal abscess
• gastritis

Endocrine:

• Anemia and ecchymosis
