How Does S.A.N. Tight Work?

Guggulsterones Z&E

Guggulsterones present in S.A.N. Tight increase the peripheral conversion of T4 into T3, making it the ideal complement to 7-keto DHEA. Increasing the peripheral conversion of T3 is highly important because the thyroid only produces 20% of the body's T3. Most of the remaining 80% is derived from T4 through a conversion process that occurs in various target tissues, like skeletal muscle, for example.

7-keto DHEA would have been a logical synergist for Guggulsterones in the Hot-Rox formula, but its bioavailability isn't high enough and its active life is far too short. Furthermore, of the entire family of androst-5-ene compounds researched, 7-keto DHEA didn't show the best performance when converting into the active species androst-5-ene-3,7,17-triol (A5-T). And since A5-T is the compound that elicits profound thermogenic actions, why not use the androst-5-ene derivative that shows the greatest conversion rate?

The best choice for Hot-Rox proved to be androst-5-ene-7-one-3,17-diol (A7-D), which has 3x better conversion into the active A5-T. So A7-D is our top choice for the job. And to improve both bioavailability and length of active life, Bill engineered A7-D into a carbonate ester, called androst-5-ene-7-one-3,17-diethylcarbonate, or A7-E.

A7-E, due to its superior rate of conversion into A5-T, its longer active life, and its increased bioavailability, represents a quantum leap beyond 7-keto DHEA, making it a real powerhouse for fat loss.

Yohimbine

Yohimbine, used in S.A.N. Tight is an alpha-adrenoceptor blocker that has been used in the treatment of erectile dysfunction. It is also used as an ingredient in a multitude of weight-loss and fitness products, either being injested with a supplement, or as a topical product, designed to penetrate the skin and initiate 'spot-action'

In order to understand the Yohimbine mechanism od action, one must forst understand what is norepinephrine, and how it works. Norepinephrine is a hormone secreted by the medulla of the adrenal glands, that acts as a neurotransmitter. The sympathetic nervous system functions in response to short-term stress; hence norepinephrine increases the heart rate as well as blood pressure. Other actions of norepinephrine include increased glycogenolysis (the conversion of glycogen to glucose) in the liver, increased lipolysis (the conversion of fats to fatty acids) in adipose (fat) tissue, and relaxation of bronchial smooth muscle to open up the air passages to the lungs. All of these actions represent a mobilization of the body's resources in order to meet the stressful challenge; such a response is often termed the 'flight or fight' syndrome, and can be used to facilitate weight loss

Yohimbine is a selective alpha 2 antagonist and can saturate the alpha 2 receptors, cancelling the norepinephrine production-stop that they will initiate upon binding with n repinephrine, thus short circuit this feedback loop, maximizing NE levels, thus maximizing fat loss, particularly in these problem areas -- and even more so if we can achieve high levels of yohimbine and NE in the adipose tissue. Unfortunately, to do so with orals, or any other method that results in high blood levels means that we will also have high levels in the heart and CNS -- thus, we will also have unpleasant and dangerous side effects. Considering the subject of this article, I obviously believe the solution lies in transdermal administration, but more on that in a bit.

Vinpocetine

Vinpocetine was first introduced into the clinical practice in Hungary for the treatment of cerebrovascular disorders and related symptoms. Since then, its active ingredient, vinpocetine, beside its therapeutical utilization, has become a reference compound in the pharmacological research of cognitive deficits caused by hypoxia and ischaemia as well as in the cellular and biochemical investigations related to cyclic nucleotides.

Vinpocetine is used in S.A.N. Tight for its ability to act as an improver of cerebral blood flow, increaser of glucose levels used in the brain, and an enhancer of memory.

Synephrine

Synephrine, used in S.A.N. Tight - a chemical that is structurally related to ephedrine - as well as octopamine and tyramine. Like ephedrine, synephrine has the ability to increase metabolic rate and lipolysis (fat breakdown). Synephrine is also a mild appetite suppressant and an energy enhancer, which are all effects that a drug like VPX Clenbutrx aims at. (The Chinese use it to stimulate the chi, life energy.) But unlike ephedrine, synephrine has much less impact on the central nervous system. This makes it easier to tolerate for people who are sensitive to ephedrine.

Caffeine

Caffeine is an alkaloid, a methylxanthine that stimulates hormone-induced fat burning. Caffeine in fitness and weight loss products comes from a variety of sources such as kola nut and green tea extract. Caffeine works by increasing free fatty-acid concentrations and adrenaline levels. This results in greater lipolysis (oxidation of fats for energy), which can drain your fat stores over time. This change in a muscle's utilization of energy substrates can have a profound effect on fat loss. Caffeine also heightens mental alertness, which can positively affect your motivation to exercise and create the caloric deficit needed to lose body fat.

Caffeine is rapidly absorbed by the body and remains in circulation for more than seven hours. Plasma concentrations reach a peak one hour after it is consumed. It is then slowly metabolized, with a half-life of four to six hours.

Caffeine has been shown to dramatically increase free fatty-acid levels, providing the body with a fuel source that it can use instead of the glycogen stored in your liver and muscles. In fact, one (not related to S.A.N. Tight) study found a 100% increase in plasma free fatty acids after the subjects took 330 mg of caffeine.

At the same time, caffeine has been shown to increase adrenaline levels. This "fight-or-flight" hormone increases alertness and boosts energy levels, helping you to go through your daily tasks with less food intake. Most people experience a reduced appetite when their adrenaline levels are high, usually because they are focused on more essential tasks. With these two mechanisms, it's easy to understand why caffeine is used in weight-loss products, and is important for jump-starting your weight-loss efforts.

Bioperine

Bioperine is a patented extract of Piper nigrum L. (black pepper) and/or Piper longum L. (long pepper) berries cultivated in India.

Bioperine appears to enhance the bioavailibility of certain supplements through enhanced absorption - ie making it easier for the body to absorb the needed vitamins, minerals, or other substances that it needs. It might be called a form of a supplement apsorption catalyst. For exactly this reason, bioperine is a thermogenic enhancer, enabling thermogenic substances to do their job more efficiently and quickly, and is thus found in S.A.N. Tight.

How To Take S.A.N. Tight and S.A.N. Tight Dosage and Administration

Take 1 S.A.N. Tight capsule two times daily with meals. Due to the potent nature of the formula use no more than 3 capsules in any 24-hour period. Not to be used for people under the age of 18.
