The most frequently observed Vicodin side effects include:

• lightheadedness
• dizziness
• sedation
• nausea
• vomiting.

These Vicodin side effects seem to be more prominent in ambulatory than in nonambulatory patients and some of these adverse reactions may be alleviated if the patient lies down.
